Sorry. It was a sarcastic comment on the lack of support on the board. ;) Still looking for such support, however. Will let you know if I find it.

If I have to add graphics for the corners where will I do that to upload etc.

Hi Folks:
I'm developing my site and perfecting it before I upload it to my provider. It looks good in IE but the links don't work in Firefox. Does anyone here have advice on how to stack the header, blog component and sidebars with z-index, to make the links clickable?

That second comment where you apparently have solved your problem makes absolutely no sense to me. What is Ravi's page.php? I don't believe I have ever seen that. I would also like to have this comment box. It seems as though if there are no comments yet, people do not understand how they are suppose to do it. I see you posted this 11 months ago. I really hope you will see this, but I am guessing no.

Ravi--the PrimePress theme is awesome.

I'm trying to edit the header.php file (to add the favicon code) and keep getting a "Bad Request" error. It seems doubtful this is a problem with the template, but I thought I'd ask if you've heard this from others. I have no trouble editing the other .php files associated with the template.

I have been using PrimePress for sometime but recently discovered that some script is being added that loads up a bunch of spam links in the header. In troubleshooting, it seems that there must be something in the rotating header script that is loading this junk code. Do you know anything about this?

I will have to replace the theme if I cannot find the source of this auto-loading malicious script.

Ravi, thanks for the great theme; love PrimePress.

However, I'm having trouble linking the RSS subscription button with the Feedburner account I just set up. I'm working with PrimePress 1.3.1. I noticed there is a new version of the theme that seems to address RSS issues like mine, but I have customizations on 1.3.1 that I don't want to lose, so I'm hesitant to upgrade.

I've tried some of the "bandaid" code solutions I found on the support forum and blog comments, but I still can't seem to get the subscriptions to show up on Feedburner. Could you give me some help? I know I need to change something in the subscribe.php file, but I just can't figure out what.

I have my Feedburner ID already (or I know how to get it). I don't need feed-by-email. I just want to be able to track my RSS subscriptions on Feedburner.

I am wondering if it is possible to put a different link and picture in the RSS spot above the sidebars.

Any luck with the sub pages on the top menu? I am looking for the same feature. Love the rotating headers!!!
I have been working with the Pixiopoint multi-level navigation plug-in. However the looks I have worked on just don't fit with the template. The function is fantastic.
If you do another version of the template I strongly suggest investing some time investigating the Pixopoint solution.

Hi:
I'm answering my own question since I just got it to work. Maybe someone else can benefit. To change the order go to the page you want to be first in your series after your Home tab and click on quick edit. In my version, it doesn't seem to work in the regular edit, then put a 1 on that page. Then go to the page whose tab you want to appear second, and put a two in that one and so on. Another trick I just learned is to get the developer bar from Mozilla and scope out the Custom CSS of PrimePress sites you like then experiment with your own Custom CSS.

Is there a way to have the home page only show snippets of each post rather than the whole thing? I think I saw an option for this somewhere, but I can't find it now.

Yeah, that's how you add pages and tabs. Can you tell us how to change the order of pages/tabs after you've created pages/tabs? There must be a way, no?

Thanks

I should have checked before putting hours into a new site with this theme, it is not XHTML complaint. This is one of the first things I suggest you do for SEO and I'm not sure I personally would be touting SEO on this theme unless it passes the validator.

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.techtrot.com%2Fprimepress%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

Also the meta generator tag is appearing twice for me on 2.9 and 1.3.2 which is not good for SEO either. It is happening on the theme home page also.

I have only 1 more suggestion from my experience, please add an option to customise the path for the rotating banner images so I can do an automatic upgrade.

Thanks.

The tabs at the top are pages, add a page.
