The only glitch with the 2.9 upgrade was with a plugin - Simple Tags. I found a fix for that online, and all is well. Upgrade away! :-)

It's long overdue for me to upgrade to the latest Wordpress version. I kept putting it off and missed 2.8 entirely. My concern is in losing the custom changes I made on my website. I don't remember exactly what they were since it was well over a year ago. Most changes are covered in the custom.css file but I know there were a few changes to some of the other files.

I have an idea what steps I should take but I'm hoping someone would have a comprehensive list of steps to make it as smooth as possible.
