Change number of posts on main page

    I would like to have fewer than 10 posts on main page. Ideally I would like to leave the rest of the archive pages with 10 posts per page.

    How do I do this?

    ok, I changed it to be 5 per page, but can it be separated for front page vs rest of pages?
